GAEL SYLVIA PULLEN is a pioneering businesswoman, prolific speaker, and ardent philanthropist. Her life’s goal is to empower and inspire all to see the good that is around us. Acting out of her core values, she is the founder of Sylvia Global Media; a global digital production company distributing content and that serves as a sphere of influence for women and girls around the world.
Fred KawashimaAdvisory Board Member
Senior Manager, Global Security, Investigations & Computer Forensics for Mattel Inc., formerly IT senior manager for Mattel Inc., Systems Architect LA Times and Sr. Infrastructure Consultant for Microsoft's Consulting Services division. He is a Board Member of Evergreen Baptist Church-SGV, Young Adult Mentor and past Board of Trustees member. Fred believes that the wisdom and talents of women would improve the professions associated with STEM. He holds a degree in Geography from UCLA.
Jeannine Lewis SimmonsDirector of Operations
Jeannine is the Managing Partner of R. Beverly Consulting, LLC – a privately held consultancy in Atlanta, GA that delivers comprehensive solutions based on the strategic initiatives of companies across a variety of industries and business structures. Her client roster includes The Coca-Cola Company, the Atlanta Housing Authority and Air Distribution Technologies. Jeannine is a graduate of The University of Georgia where she earned an M.S. in Consumer Economics and Spelman College where she earned a B.A. in Psychology.
Sheri Dunn BerryProgram Director
Sheri Dunn Berry is the Director of Programs for Community Partners and has extensive experience within the complexities of urban environments and the nonprofit sector - around public policy, knowledge-sharing, and shaping organizational effectiveness. Sheri leads and oversees the success of the fiscal sponsorship program, coordinates our partnerships with grant makers, and much more. She holds an undergraduate degree in public affairs from UC Berkeley and a Master's in public administration from USC.
Arlene M. YeeAdvisory Board Member
Arlene Michiko Yee is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has had a successful private counseling practice business for the past 30 years in Los Alamitos, California. Arlene graduated in 1977 from the University of Southern California (USC) with a Bachelors of Science in International Relations and East Asian Languages and Cultures. In 1979 she graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Masters in Social Welfare
Rachel PayneAdvisory Board Member
Rachel Payne started FEM inc. when she realized that there was an enormous opportunity in entertainment for innovation. In her prior role as Principal, Global Strategic Alliances at Google, she worked with top executives across the company to develop comprehensive strategies for their largest global media partners, including Sony, Disney, NewsCorp and Time Warner. Prior to this, she was President and Co-Founder of inDplay, a cloud-based rights and contract management service for studios that enabled rights licensing globally
Janita GordonAdvisory Board Member
Janita Gordon is the Senior Associate at Girl Scouts - Arizona Cactus-Pine Council. She has twenty-two years of education, public policy and philanthropy experience in foundations, non profit and academic institutions. She has been responsible for raising over $100 million throughout her career. Areas of special expertise include; creating revenue streams to sustain nonprofit organizations; establishing Level 5 Teams, planning and implementation of strategies to increase major gifts, building collaborative/community partnerships and empowerment of youth through program design and evaluation.
Dr. Chris HardyAdvisory Board Member
Dr. Chris Hardy brings an extensive background in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Business Processes, as well as, in leadership and management. For over 30 years she has supported Sales, Sales Support, Marketing, Service Executive, Customer Service and IT for the AT&T Business Customers. She is an avid supporter for non-profit events, and is the Vice-President of Special events for Women of AT&T and chairs the Golf Tournament, and the Asian Pacific Islanders group’s Good Fortune Mixers for both Los Angeles and Orange County.
Jason BaronAdvisory Board Member
Jason T. Baron is Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager, U.S. Trust. Jason is the creator and portfolio manager for the Socially Innovative Investing (S2I ) strategy in the investments group within U.S. Trust. Prior to joining U.S. Trust, Mr. Baron served as the group head for the community investing team at Lehman Brothers where he was responsible for the design and implementation of socially responsible and mission-oriented investment products.
